Christopher is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Civil Engineering Surveyor and Chartered Construction Manager with almost 18 years experience in the property and construction industry. He is a fellow of both the RICS and CIArb and has worked in the commercial sector, undertaking both refurbishment and new build projects, within the private residential, student residential & office accommodation markets. Christopher is also a qualified Adjudicator and sits on the UK Adjudicator's Adjudication panel, RICS Consumer Home Improvements Adjudication Panel and the CIC Low Value Dispute Adjudication Procedure Panel.

 

His area of expertise is project cost control, where he has been responsible for managing cost on projects ranging in value from £50,000 to over £120 million, from inception through to project completion.

Christopher frequently represents parties in adjudications with success and has also been appointed as a Quantum Expert and further worked on a number of arbitrations and litigations across a range of sectors (both domestic and international), providing quantum expert witness support on claims worth collectively over £1billion. The tasks completed by Christopher, have included detailed analysis of claims, quantity surveying valuations of work and report writing. He has also assisted lawyers directly when preparing quantum documents for submission.

 

Christopher has a postgraduate Masters qualification in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution from King’s College London along with being a qualified RICS Expert Witness and a qualified Adjudicator within Construction disputes. Following the successful completion of a post graduate diploma in law, Christopher is currently enrolled with a scholarship undertaking his Bar exams with an aim to dual-qualifying as a Barrister. He is a member of Gray's Inn.
